THE AWAY DAY
Bettys & Taylors needed a memorable Away Day that would get the Finance team thinking outside the box.
They were after something interactive, challenging, and above all, fun. It had to be engaging and memorable, and it couldn’t just be another day spent in meeting rooms.
They wanted their team to leave with a fresh sense of connection and camaraderie, ready to take on new challenges together.
THE APPROACH
Enter The Courier: A bespoke treasure hunt adventure that led the team across the historic city of York. Here’s what we designed and how we made it happen.
INTERACTIVE TREASURE HUNT
The Finance team had to deliver a mysterious package from the boss to a secret location. Along the way, they solved challenges, tackled puzzles, and raced against time.
COMMUNICATION AND PROBLEM SOLVING
Teams stayed in touch with the boss, who threw in curveballs to test their loyalty, skills, and ability to think on their feet.
TEAM ENGAGEMENT
It wasn’t just about getting from A to B. This adventure encouraged teamwork, decision-making, and creative problem-solving, all wrapped in a layer of fun and excitement.
GRAND FINALE
The adventure culminated in a dinner and cocktail-making session at a secret location—a perfect way to unwind, share laughs, and celebrate the day’s success.
WHY IT WORKED
Our bespoke approach was the secret ingredient. We designed and created an experience that was challenging, fun, and perfectly aligned with Bettys & Taylors’ desire to shake things up and push their team outside their comfort zone. The balance of adventure, problem-solving, and surprise kept everyone engaged from start to finish.
